After our long drive, we headed straight to bed when we arrived at the hotel. After a slow morning, free breakfast and laundry we piled back into the car and headed towards Daytona Beach. We weren’t sure if we could park on the beach so just headed in that direction and hoped for the best. This was clearly the way to go as we drove towards the beach we suddenly came upon a huge archway that proclaimed “Welcome to Daytona Beach the world’s most famous beach” and we were (for $5) able to drive straight onto the beach. Parking the car we laid out our towels and spent the next couple of hours sunbathing and chilling out before heading to Disney.
Love it!!
The car should always be an important feature of all holiday snaps – especially a huge silvery US gas guzzler parked on the sand …. love it!!! The Fiesta will feel like a roller skate when you get back in it …
Better than my snaps of a hired Daewoo Matiz outside a greek taverna ….
Happy ESD x
Glad you like it. I realised on Daytona Beach that I hadn’t sent you a picture of the car yet, having promised to ages ago, and the car on holiday seemed the perfect opportunity to do so. xxx
